Branding and web design for Spin Mortgage — a new mortgage broker grounded in an ethic of radical transparency.
Founders Steve & Jeff created Spin as a rejection of the bait-and-switch tactics and obfuscation that permeated the industry. Their identity and marketing materials needed an injection of the founders’ personality to properly address a clientele that wasn’t interested in the full-service, come-over-for-dinner models of the past — as well as robust tools that educated and empowered users to research, compare and tailor their own mortgage products.
We helped build an identity around their ethics of fairness, expertise, efficiency and deep love of cycling culture. We followed this by creating a streamlined, straightforward website featuring an interactive Rate Game — a transparent, merit-based system that explains how & why a client qualifies for a particular rate.
